Batches (Main Menu / Data / Inventory / Other / Food Service / Batches)
Batches allow for proper inventory tracking by incrementing finished products and decrementing ingredients used.
Prepare one or more batches of cookies
·The sugar cookie inventory will incremented by the number of batches prepared times the number of servings in the recipe less waste.
·The ingredients will be decremented by the number of batches prepared times the qty of each ingredient in the recipe.
Execute - Processes the batches specified.
Cancel - Cancels the current operation.
Close - Closes the Batches form.
Help - Displays the help menu (see Help Menu).
Tool Tips - Hover the mouse cursor over any field descriptor to display a brief description.
PLU Number - The read-only PLU Number of the recipe. Accessed by pressing the New button.
Full Description - The read-only description of the recipe.
Qty Prepared - The number of batches made.
Ingredients - The ingredients in the recipe
PLU - The PLU Number of an item contained in the kit. Press the button to the right of the PLU column to select items.
Description - The description of an item in the kit. This is a read-only field.
Quantity - The quantity per unit of measure of each item contained in the recipe.
UOM - The unit of measure.
